What may interact with generic Cialis?

Cialis contains Tadalafil as a main component. Tadalafi should not be used with any medication with blood lowering effect. Tadalafil is a mild vasodilator, it produces insignificant decreases in blood pressure. It taken with other medication, especially with nitrates for chest pain or certain drugs for hypertension, it may cause a sudden reduction in blood pressure resulting in fainting, heart attack and fatality. Do not take Cialis Soft with: nitrates like amyl nitrite, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, and nitroglycerin. Cialis Soft may also interact with the following medications:

  • Drugs used for fungal or yeast infections, like fluconazole, itraconazole, ketoconazole, and voriconazole. These drugs reduce the elimination of Tadalafil from the body, so it is recommended not to combine them with Tadalafi.
  • Medications for the treatment of HIV infection or AIDS.
  • Seizures medications ( carbamazepine, phenytoin, and Phenobarbital)
  • Macrolide antibiotics (clarithromycin, erythromycin, troleandomycin).
  • Medications for enlarged prostate.
  • Rifabutin, rifampin or rifapentine.
  • Other medications.

Ask your doctor about all possible interactions. Inform your doctor about all other drugs you take for the treatment of other conditions.
